Formerly known as Mike’s Electric Inc. and rebranded as MEI, our company has been serving the Sheridan area since 1948. We’re thankful for the last 70+ years and look forward to an exciting future.
As a family-owned, family-operated business, we hold our team to the highest standards of honesty, integrity and professionalism. We value our clients, contractors and community and work hard to be a good steward of their trust.
Our mission is to provide top-notch electrical contracting services, from the initial design phase through project completion. We’re here to answer your questions, ease any worries and help your project run smoothly.
A Note from the Owners
“Hello and welcome to MEI! We’re glad you’re here browsing our site and learning a little about our team.
As owners of MEI, our goal is to emphasize the “family” in “family owned and operated.” Sheridan’s community is one that recognizes the value of honesty, transparency and hard work, which is why our company has been successful here for over 70 years. With these values as a foundation, we’ve been able to hold our entire team to high standards of excellence.
That being said, we know that excellence alone does not suffice; Just as important are the connections we build along the way. Our mission is to form lasting relationships within our team and in our community, and thanks to the wonderful people in our area, we’ve been able to do just that. We are so grateful for our employees, friends, clients and community and look forward to an exciting future together!“

Bailey: Office Manager and Good Dog
Walk through the door of our Sheridan office and you’re likely to find Bailey the Office Manager stalking the halls and keeping everyone in line. With one eye on the overhead and a paw on the bottom line, she oversees the office with ruthless efficiency.
That is, until someone throws a ball… then it’s time to play a little fetch, have a nice treat and stretch out for a nap.
Stop by our office to say hello – we’d love to see you! Just be sure to have an ear rub ready for the one in charge.
